I turned 35. With luck and continued good health, I have now probably lived 1/3 of my life. I picked up a few things from my 35 rotations around the sun.
I was arrested in my youth. Embarrassed about it, I never spoke about it until now. In light of the black lives matter movement, I share my experience as an example we can all learn from in hopes that we all reflect on our experiences and recognize the benefits of privilege.
What a year it was travelling the world and experiencing new adventures. Breaking away from my prior life. Beyond what I actually did, what did I learn? What life lessons did I take away from my year of reflection that can serve me going forward?
